How We Work

Why Fundora Works Differently

We keep cohorts small, content grounded, and the focus firmly on understanding — not on selling you anything beyond the program itself.

Malaysia-Specific Context

Every example, figure, and case study uses Malaysian instruments, regulations, and market conditions — not generic international templates.

Small Learning Cohorts

Programs run with limited participants per intake. This keeps discussions meaningful and allows facilitators to address individual questions properly.

Education, Not Sales

Fundora has no financial products to sell you. Our programs exist purely to build understanding — you leave with knowledge, not a product recommendation.

Flexible Scheduling

Sessions are structured to accommodate working professionals. Evening and weekend options are available depending on the current intake cycle.

Practical Materials Included

Reference guides, worked examples, and exercise sheets are included in each program — materials you can revisit long after the sessions end.

Post-Program Access

Participants retain access to their program's reference materials and can reach the facilitator with follow-up questions for 30 days after completion.

Ready to Start Learning on Solid Ground?

Before You Decide

Questions We Hear Often

Plain answers to the things most people ask before enrolling.

Are these programs suitable for someone with no financial background?
Yes. Each program starts from the ground up. The Currency & Forex Awareness course, for instance, assumes no prior knowledge of exchange markets. Facilitators adjust the pace based on the group's comfort level, and questions are always encouraged.
How are sessions conducted — in person or online?
Programs are primarily conducted in person at our Johor Bahru office, which allows for practical demonstrations and group discussions. Select programs may offer a hybrid option — please enquire for the current intake format.
What is the difference between the forex awareness program and a forex trading course?
They are quite different. Our Currency & Forex Awareness program focuses on understanding how the market works — exchange mechanics, the factors behind currency movement, and transaction costs. It is not a course on how to trade currencies. We do not teach trading strategies or position-taking.
Do I need to be registered as a business to join the freelancer program?
No formal business registration is required. The program is open to anyone earning income outside of regular employment — including gig workers, part-time freelancers, and those transitioning to self-employment. The content covers both registered sole proprietors and those operating informally.
What materials are included in the program fee?
All programs include printed reference guides, exercise sheets, and digital copies of session materials. For the Mutual Funds & Unit Trusts Orientation, a curated set of sample fund fact sheets used during exercises is also included.
How many participants are in each intake?
We deliberately keep cohorts small — typically between 8 and 15 participants per program. This allows for more focused discussions and gives each person the space to ask questions without feeling rushed.
Is there any support after the program ends?
Participants can reach their program facilitator with follow-up questions for 30 days after completion. You also retain access to all digital reference materials indefinitely. For ongoing financial guidance, we can suggest appropriate professional resources.
